no brainer
$10 for this vs $93 from our local radio dealer. He tells me they aren't repairable, well, since he never fixes anything for us anyway, who cares. I can take them apart and clean them and when they break, I can toss them without regret. We haven't had them long enough to do a good comparison, but they work right out of the bag

Replaces factory and expensive aftermarket mics
Sound is a little tinny, but it's loud. around our shop metal dust and filings tend to collect on the speakers. These come apart easily for cleaning. $10 beats the $93 our dealer is charging for his aftermarket mics. Only one failure in 6 months.
