Great little adapter for my dynamic SM58
I haven't made a proper gold standard lead for it yet, but it works very well in my home studio with the standard one that's included. I walked around the house with it, including downstairs and it suffered no interruptions. There is some background electronic noise, but considering the amount of studio equipment, including 4 monitors, that I run AND that the studio is in the smallest bedroom in the house that's to be expected. I doesn't get your attention much. I think most (maybe all) of that will hopefully disappear when the higher quality gold connection is ready (waiting for delivery of parts).
I found that the gain on the unit was ample and did not need to be maxed. Put it into a good standard mixer/powered speaker with plenty of gain of it's own and you should have no particular issues. I will probably buy another soon.
