Good BNC to SMA adapter for fitting a BAOFENG GT-3TP Hand Held.

This is a good quality adapter, and fits the SMA connector on the top of my Baofeng GT-3TP very well. Obviously with the radio accepting a BNC plug now it becomes possible to connect to a SWR bridge, or external aerial or use a better quality 'rubber duck' that has a BNC termination. It opens up the possibilities. If you are thinking about a BNC to SMA adapter as being useful, I found this trader offers a good product, as far as my GT-3TP in concerned. I bought two... G4DCQ..

Nice little project box

This is a good aluminum box for a project that requires a screened box rather than a plastic box.It is simple to remove one half to drill the mounting holes to fix the PCB. There are no stick on feet supplied so it might be wise to order a pad of 4 large adhesive feet from elsewhere, at the same time of placing this order.

Not the best around

This USB to RS232 convertor actually does the job that it is intended for. However in the particular instance I was using the device it was putting out a lot of noise on adjacent radios, (Radio Ham), and this made it unusable for me. I cut the cable open between the USB plug and the RS232 shell and found it was just ordinary wires, that is to say NOT a screened lead. So obviously that is where the noise was coming from. I bought again, this time a device in a clear blue tranparent case, showing a shielded lead connecting the USB and RS232 shell and all was well.
