The pins on the coaster are usually good for a little more than a year I’ve noticed. This replacement coaster is so effective I was having my hot coffee is seconds thanks to my seller. So impressed that I asked my son to get me a new, boxed one for Father’s Day from Best Buy. Now I’ll be ready when my eBay coaster wears out next year or so
