Great for making sourdough bread
I recently started making sourdough and needed a lidded vessel that would retain steam whilst cooking. This does the job brilliantly. It is lighter than the usual cast iron pot that I use, it is just the right size for a normal size batard and it is over half the price of the pots that I have already purchased. I won't be using this pot for baking meats, stews etc as I think the flavour would remain in the pot (chicken bread?....perhaps not! 😜), but I do think it would work brilliantly for this. It's also is a lovely looking dish that would grace any kitchen table. Love my Mason Cash!
