A good quality item that I didn't want and am now glad I have.
I actually bought the wrong thing as I was after a full desk mat and read mm as cm, but this has proven to be a particularly delightful surprise.
Specifically;
Grip is phenomenal - at no point has the mat moved horizontally, including at times when I wanted it to
The pad texture is pleasant on the wrists, and keeps to a pleasant temperature regardless of ambient cooling
Mouse response pickup has tangibly improved, and my existing RSI doesn't flare up nearly as bad after 8 hours using it.

Go for it!
I needed this for a funeral and it absolutely came through. The size is quite imposing, the quality of the dyes is very good and 'drape' of the fabric achieved an excellent effect.
The opacity of the material is the only slightly questionable attribute - you can see strong colours through it - but this isn't a big issue from a distance of 2-3 meters.
All in all, an excellent quality item.

What mp3 players should be
2 of 2 found this helpful I have had one of these for close to 5 years now, and it still works as superbly as the day it came out the wrapping despite:
1. being dropped in both dettol and water
2. bouncing off tiles & cut stone from up to 2 meters
3. being nearly crushed between me and a wall
4. being completely dissassembled, cleaned and *taped* back together
Indeed the only thing that has gone irreplacably wrong with it is the covering for the battery and usb jack got lost, and since the battery is held in with a pretty stiff spring and surrounded by a good bit of housing, it's not even a noticable issue.
The sound performance is both consistent and clear, can reach remarkably high volumes without losing sound quality, and even the equaliser is pretty useful.
It supports all manner of Mp3 files, as well as WMA, but it may be worthwhile to double check the drm is compatible with your products before purchasing, like with any music player.
Even the audio recording facility is remarkably powerful, and has both high quality and a stunning pickup range.
Finally, it is a matter of 5 minutes practice to learn to use it without looking, and the left/right handed operation switch was a nice touch.
I regularly reccomend this product for stand alone mp3 purposes, and the fact that you can carry around a tiny aaa backup battery in your wallet means being cutoff halfway through your train commute will never happen again.
Worth every penny.
