Haven't used, but if buying a metal detector for this amount of money Garrett is the way to go, and buying the special kit is definately the way to go
1 of 1 found this helpful Havent used, after researching YouTube I decided Garret 300 was the way to go. The price was right for my budget, the special pack is perfect. I am retired and always wanted a metal detector, I can afford this and it has the pointer. Chuffed to bits.

Not as simple as advert makes out.
Not surface mounted, requires a large round hole to be cut, or it will not fit. Drill bit to cut hole is about £10.
