Microsoft 5000 wireless keyboard and mouse.

I wanted a comprehensive keyboard so that I could make extensive use of the programmable keys. This keyboard does that for me and I now have one key access to three regular programs. I have configured another key to put the PC in Sleep mode (a surprising omission from the regular keys) and one which prints out my email address. I find white keyboards easier to use than black but this option was not available. As a result I have had to provide additional illumination for the keyboard area. So far as the mouse is concerned I had already bought an advanced HP mouse and find that it has a better feel. Another problem with the Microsoft mouse is that the only way to shut off its power (apart from removing the batteries) is by inserting the provided USB key into it. This is not convenient when that is round the back of the PC and removing it would disable the keyboard.

Just the job

We noticed that the door to our conservatory was letting through a considerable draught and noise. Examination showed that the door had warped. I bought this stuff to put on top of the original seal and it worked well. Care needs to be taken with its application though. I like the fact that you have a choice in the profile of the seal.

Does the job

I've used the American version called Williams for years. This doesn't seem quite so good but it does represent better value for money.
