Great for Coffee
Just the right size for a cup base and both fit under my portafilter without removing the drip tray. Scale is easy to read and responds instantly. Was worth a punt at this price but is a really great bit of kit.

Repurposed for Espresso
Not the intended use but I replaced the jet in my E61 group head with this for a slower flow rate. Cheaper than from the specialist shops and works as intended. Go easy when fitting....by nature this won't stand up to ham fistedness and that extra nip might shear the head.

Still Performing
I'd guess that this laptop was once the flagship of Dell's range and as new it would have cost a serious packet. 4 years on and I've shelled out £200 for what is still a greater than average performer. If you're wanting a dedicated games machine then this isn't really your option. The nVidia quadro cards aren't designed with games in mind and certainly aren't capable of supplying playable frame rates at the native panel resolution of 1920x1200 even on point and click adventures. However if your wanting a machine to do anything else on a budget then this really ticks all the boxes. Battery is reporting a good 3 hours continual use and I've extended that by installing a solid state drive which as well as making the machine silent when the fan isn't running cuts boot and application launch time down to a minimum. Original disk was quiet enough though and seemed really responsive with the OS freshly installed. Only things I can see missing from connectivity are eSATA and USB3 but with the ExpressCard slot these can be added if required.
