2 Pole 11 position rotary switch
Following on from my previous review that I posted yesterday, I have discovered that the white base on which the contacts are attached is composed of a sandwich type construction in which the base is ceramic and the top - between the terminals, is a thin layer of a plastic compound! When my soldering iron touched this top layer it naturally melt the plastic. Heaven knows why the manufactures in their wisdom decided to put a layer of thin plastic on top of ceramic but there it is.
I am now confident that the switch is fit for my purpose and accordingly I have given a positive review.
