Light household use
If used for light work you will have no issue however any heavy building materials can cause the barrow to bend and twist.
I would definitely recommend for light use but it does have its limits which you need to be aware of, its certainly not a cheap alternative to a builders barrow and clearly that is why its advertised for the garden.
In summary it has done what I needed it to and with care and a few extra trips does the job!
