My Blu Ray
2 of 2 found this helpful I have a home theater with a 1080p projector and a 1080i Rear projection TV. After the war between HD and Blu Ray ended, now is the time to start buying from the winner. Like Standard DVD when they frist came out, Blu Ray DVD's are priced mid 20's to 30 dollars a disk. So now that there is one format the cost should be going down.
The picture quality on the Sony Blu Ray player is Amazing. If you have not seen a full 1080p picture, go to your local electronics story and see what you are missing.
The only down side I see now is the slow loading time. It takes at least 1 minute for the player to get ready, and once you insert a disc it takes a couple of minutes at least before your disc is ready for you to access it.
But the picture in full 1080p is worth the wait.
