Much more durable than the DDR V3 (?) metal pad
5 of 5 found this helpful I have been playing DDR, stepmania, etc for years at the arcades before purchasing metal dance pads for home use. I have gone through two other metal pads before (I can't verify that they are the new "improved" versions of the V3's but look exactly like them) and within a few months, the plexi-glass (?), on BOTH pads where the arrows are were all cracked so that if you played barefoot you'd more than likely have a piece stuck in your foot or at least a very big cut. And I'm not a heavy person. I'm 5'0", and weigh just under 100lbs. I usually play on the hardest game mode per song, so I was skeptical buying another metal pad that wasn't the actual arcade machine itself. My worries have been put to rest with this dance pad, and I'm looking to buy another one soon, so I can play on both sides (Like how you can do at the arcade). The extra money is WELL WORTH IT for this dance pad. not a single crack in the glass or whatever material is covering the arrows. The sensors work well, although on rare occasion do miss, but again, it could be my weight (or lack thereof) combined with the fact that I do not "stomp" but step lightly when I play (again, I can't understand why the other models of metal pads I had owned previously had numerous cracks in them). I also like that this metal pad provides versatility. I own many gaming consoles, have used every one of the adapters this pad comes with and they all work. Only in the PC stepmania game does it seem that the settings need to be calibrated so that the steps register in time to the beat in the songs, but that seems to be a ROM/EMU issue, not the issue with the actual dance pad, as I've played across different gaming consoles, but it's only the PC rom that gives issue with the step timing. The only problem I did come across that IS the pad itself, is that if you leave it idle for just a bit too long, you have to disconnect and reconnect it from the console or pc so that it registers your button tapping again. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying. All in all, I'm giving it a 4 out of 5. I wish they had an option to do 4.5 out of 5 though, as that's only a minor issue.

Winter Dry Skin Fix!!
1 of 1 found this helpful While I was waiting for other kbeauty skincare products to come in that I ordered online, I needed something right away to fix the dry patches on my face from the winter season. I ordered a 3 pack of these green tea masks, and they day after I tried the first mask, my dry patches were gone. I live in the desert, so I can't speak for those living in climates where they get full on snow, but having dry skin, coupled with the cold dry air here in the winter, this face mask worked wonders. I have already reordered more, and will continue to keep some on hand come late fall/early winter. For those who live in humid climates, with oily/combo skin, I am unsure as to whether this will be too moisturizing, but for those with dry skin, definitely give this a try. It's affordable too, so really, there's nothing to lose :) Note that I have also tried the cheapest masks that face shop has to offer, and they do not stand up to this line at all! Spend a dollar or so more and get these - way better quality. As far as fit, everyone has a different size face, and my face in particular is small, so this is a little large on me (the top part can go past my hair line if I don't fold it over, while the bottom part goes under my chin, almost to my neck). I don't really see that as much of a problem though, being that I like to spread the remaining essence in the package down my neck anyway. Oh, also be sure to cleanse your face first, and if you have Korean toner (non alcoholic at the very least so it won't dry your face further) apply that too before applying this. Happy masking!! ^_^v

Smooth application
I've been using Merle Norman cosmetics for years, as well as other brands. I've used many different brands of makeup and especially eyeliners, but this is the brand I use most. Color is well pigmented, applying only twice over to get true color. It's not too glossy or too matte of a finish giving more natural appearance. Easy to blend, using a finger, q-tip, or the spongy end of the stick. Unfortunately I've noticed that even using Urban Decay's primer potion, this eyeliner still has a tendency to run after 4+ hours of use - especially right on the inner corners of my eyes, or on my eyelids, depending on the humidity outside. It's definitely not an all day wear or waterproof eyeliner, but great for people who have skin sensitivities or are allergic to makeup. using their line of cosmetics I have not had a single allergic reaction like I have experienced with some other brands I also like that they are not particularly expensive, and they've also been in the industry for years (being that even my mother has been using their products, also due to her skin allergies). I use this everyday, and 1 stick usually lasts me a good month and a half before having to buy another one. Overall, I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
