Flush install - recycled not vented
I wanted to install this flush underneath an existing bridging unit. Except, with the installation method provided requires that it be dropped down onto a wall bracket. Impossible to do and have it flush against the underside of a unit above it. Plus the wall bracket would have extended above the underside - so the wall unit would have had to come off.
I added 19mm pillars bolted inside the top opening and used those to mount it to the underside of the wall unit. It's light enough. I made a paper template to transfer all the hole positions to the wall unit.
It's about a 6" opening needed for the outlet pipe. I say "about" as the tube from the fan chamber isn't actually round. I took the pipe up through the wall unit and converted it to horizontally running rectangular trunking. I found a handy car air filter which just fitted into the trunking. Which should clean up the air returning into the kitchen, but be easily removable for exchange at suitable intervals.
The lighting is two incandescent SBS candle lights. I've swapped those for LEDs. They are a sod to change, unscrewing the brackets that the bulb holders are fitted to made it a lot easier.
You can fit carbon filter modules to each end of the fan enclosure. I haven't bothered, as yet.
The moulded on plug was a bother. Yes, of course I needed to thread the mains lead up through a void. Which most people would have to do. So I had to take the complete cable off and reinstall.
Having written all that - it does look good. But designed by someone who has given little thought to the guy installing it.

Really easy to change in a Nemo 1.4HdI!!! Less than 10 minute job.
So this was a replacement fuel filter for a Citroen Nemo 1.HdI. Could not have been easier. One star screw and one crosshead screw to remove. The fuel pipes disconnected with finger pressure alone. Hinged it forward, disconnected the electrical connection. Popped the other one in and pumped the fuel up using the bulb on the other side of the engine. Done in less than 10 minutes.
Now, considering the nightmare that some fuel filter replacements can be - this really couldn't be any easier.

They work
There's nothing wrong with it. It worked straight out of the pack.
