QUALITY IS GREAT AND THE LENTH IS GREATER THAN IT APPEARS IN PICTURE
it has good reach, the wires are longer by about 2 inches over how it appears.

THEY REALLY WORK - AT CLOSE RANGE
well, i knew about this technology from testimonials of rainbow vacuums large version so that is why i tried this baseball sized one. it does work although not in a full room sense. it cleans the air in about a 3 foot radius around it. an example is the compost bin in my kitchen which was starting to mold and smelled before it was carried outside. this device did not clean up that smell when it was setting on top of the fridge but when i put it next to the sack of spent tea leaves and vegie parts it cleared the air of mold spores completely (!) i had to put my nose next to the trash to smell it (and it was strong)
so, it is perfectly fit for its purpose at a desk area or on a nightstand to cut down allergens and i purchased a second one for a tiny bathroom which does an all right job but not perfect.
do not expect any humidification from these little things - it takes several days to expel a third of a cup of water.
also, it is a chore to keep it filled with water. a more trouble free air cleaner is an ozone generator and after having experimented with these, i would chose an ozone generator over everything else, even an ionizer (which usually produce ozone also). even a small ozone generator cleans every possible crevice. they improve breathing whereas these water things do not have that effect. sleeping in ozonated air is heaven.
