Sorted my issue with partial refund
The plastic cap ends fall out often but are only for show. The main problem is the circlip to retain the plastic wheel that the lifter uses to glide...This is not sprung steel so falls off and gets lost. Pretty dangerous when lowering your bike down. So they refunded me £3 which I have spent on proper sleung steel circlips to retain the wheel.

Very good item, sticks well and is firm enough to appear long lasting but with a soft close for wooden doors etc.

This will not only convert the 12n & 12s 7 pin connectors in to 1, but it's also a 7 to 13 pin adapter. So I can now connect my trailer lights, including reverse found on the grey loom, I can run the split charge to power my caravan. All for less than one fifth of the branded price. Amazing.
