Canon 60mm f2.8 Macro Lens
This a excellent Macro and Portrait lens. Pin sharp! Its been a long time sice I have used a prime lens on my DSLR and to be honest, its only the convenience that keeps me usign Zooms. If I had the possibilities I would certainly add more prime lenses to my system.
If you want a relatively inexpensive top quality optic, you wont go far wrong with this. Best results seem to be around the F4 mark.
I'm just getting used to moving the camera back and forth to get the best framing – something that is no longer necessary with Zooms.

Great little bedside table
We had been looking for a long time to find a suitable bed side table for our spare room. Due to limited space we had to be very selective. Finally, I found this little gem on ebay.
