Most 'Enlightening'
Sorry for the pun! Mike Lawrence is one of those rare breed of authors, capable of taking you step by step, assuming nothing from the reader. Excellent contribution with this book, but as always when dealing with electricity, a degree of confidence and intelligence is a necessity before undertaking any procedure.

Not the type of manual I thought I was getting
Probably accurate to a fault, and useful to a trained electrician, but not for the regular DIY guy looking for simple instruction.
