Workable solution but not for the faint of heart
The remote does what it claims to do. Given that adding steering wheel controls to a car that doesn't have them is falls somewhere between difficult and expensive to nearly impossible it is nice to have a unit like this to work with. That being said it could be better. The main problem is that it doesn't fit the steering wheel of my 2009 Jeep Patriot. The unit is designed to fit a steering that is 1.25 inches thick. There is a little leeway but not much. A better mounting system would allow it to fit more cars. The other problem is that the buttons are not illuminated. The units run on a coin type battery so this was done to make them last longer, but illuminated buttons and a larger battery would be a nice touch.
These are not problems with this remote but the buyer needs to be aware that not all radios use a two wire steering wheel control input. I found most U.S made radios don't. I did find several Sony units that do and many Android only units. You also need a Steering Control Setup page in the Settings menu so the radio can 'learn' the buttons on this remote. Again, this is not a common feature on U.S. manufactured radios.
This was a fun project but I have to say it is not plug and play.

Great Tablet
1 of 2 found this helpful This is a great tablet. Beautiful screen. Good response to touch. Faster than My Galaxy Tab 7. I bought this for the larger screen and the fact that it is 4G. I don't use the 4G much but my son loves to watch video while in the car. T-Mobile coverage can be spotty occasionally but is good overall. Availability of wifi keeps the 4G data usage manageable. The screen is susceptible to 'burn in' but that is true of most tablets.

Great Starter
This is a better than average starter 3D printer with a lot of potential. It can make very nice prints out of the box and it has a ton of potential for upgrades. The price can hardly be beat.
The only downside I would not is that the plastic frame tends to flex and this leads to irregular surfaces on the printed piece..
A note about 3D printers. If you want professional looking prints 'out of the box' you are going to have to spend a lot of money up front. 3D printing is as much art as science and there are a ton of setting to tweak and all of them can affect the outcome. If you by a starter printer such as this you will spend at least half you time printing or installing upgrades to make it better. In the end you will spend nearly the same but you will know a lot more about printers and printing than buying the fancy unit to start with.
