Finally!

I have wanted this recording since I first saw it in the last 1970s on LP but unfortunately did not buy it when I had the chance. It is so amazing to hear Kiri Te Kanawa and Edita Gruberova in these roles in their prime, and Kathleen Battle at the beginning of her career. Kurt Moll and Jose Van Dam are impressive, as always. Peter Hoffman is too heavy for Tamino, but he sings well. So happy to finally have this recording on CD!
