Must have for Canon-ist!
If you own a crop-size Canon and are serious about photography - you really need to have this one! It opens up a whole new perspective to your photos. It is sharp and fast. OK. It is not cheap. It more expensive that alternative independents from Tamron, Sigma or Tokina. But considering that using this one in conjuction with Canon DPP software it will allow automatic correction of abberations (that all lenses in this range have), it should be the first choice. I love it. I had one before; sold it to finance purchase of EF-S 15-85 (anopther briliant general purpose) for my 7D; and re-purchased once recuperated finances. Look around, and you can pick up a mint second-hand in price of independents.

Does the job, but not brilliant
Cheap and easy to fix solution to prevent chipping of the door edge. Once fitted, looks OK and certainly does the job; but the plastic is too stiff to evenly follow the bends of the door frame. One made of more flexible material would be perfect. If your door is straight, no problem, but if it is of a complex shape - the result will not be great visually.
