A missed opportunity to showcase and illuminate a great artist.
Not been to exhibition yet, but catalogue does not bode well. Not enough top quality art by Durer, I fear. As for the catalogue, too many repetitive essays, and very little useful information about individual pictures. Very disappointing.

The Monks - one of the great unsung bands!
what a great band! 1966 - way ahead of their time, a weird mix of so many styles, but the whole effect is joyous. Just a shame about the last two tracks added onto this version - a live rendering of Monk Chant instead, as performed at the beat club in '66, would have been far more fitting.

Brought the century, as much as Hogarth, to life.
Well worth paying a little extra for the hardback edition. Print and pictures much bigger, clearer, better quality. Just a shame my copy didn't have dust jacket.
