Great Live Recording.. Have no frame to compare to original
1 of 1 found this helpful As most MoFi recordings, the sound is very good.. Again, never heard the original LP. And like just about all MoFi issues.. it costs what an import and any very good pressing would cost.
The music on this one made it worth it for me. Withers and band in super fine form.. even the stage patter is much more charming and relatable, than dated and corny. Highlights include extended opening jam extraordinaire for "Use Me", "Grandma's Hands" is relayed so well here and the kicker for me is the end of the last side.. with the "..Harlem.." jam. So so good. I could skip "Lean on Me" forever.. but it was a big hit for the man.. Can't fault its inclusion here.
