Well worth the import. Care and love has gone into these restorations. Keaton's work is timeless.

Picture quality varies. However clearly good efforts have been made to restore these movies, even from different elements sometimes. Keaton's work is different and special. A vital part of any mature balanced collection of movies. Clean, fast paced physical comedies.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY BLU RAY Steelbook Limited Edition EXCLUSIVE FYE

Perfect wierd wonderful funny brilliant movie for anyone, young or old.

I actually really love this film, but wasn't sure why. This steelbook edition is a crisp bluray transfer, reminding me strongly of the 35mm print I showed as a proffesional projectionisr when it came out in 1991. Good clear bluray version of it. I 'm sure I love it because, while the Addams family is "dysfunctional and morbid" (apparently) on the outside (to the rest of the "normal" world; yet in fact there are several loving relationships within the family. It also has an inclusive angle to everything, where every member is valued in their own way. Actors are all excellent, from Raoul Julia (Mr addams), Anjelica Houston (Mrs), to uncle Fester (Christopher Lloyd), and particularly Lurch (Carel Struycken), because a seven foot actor to play Lurch is extremely hard to find. The movie could not have been made without him. He can't be Ted Cassidy, but he's great in his own way. They're all brilliant, children and all other actors. Well written and directed, and with very cool atmospheric lighting and special effects. A beautiful movie, also with great music. Quality print onto bluray.!

Well produced spectacular musical.

Wonderful film. Great escapist fantasy. Characters are fun, and a warm feeling throughout. What it lacks in realism it makes for with fantastic costumes, beautiful English scenery, amazing animals and beautiful cinematography. The perfect family film, and the music is memorable. Lavish production in Toddao 70mm. Not to everyone's taste, but so beautifully produced that it is a gem. You have to have a soft heart to see it's amazing value. Five star product because it fits it's own niche category. The animal scenes are funny and affecting. Great flow of dialogue and action with the animals. The concept of talking with them (while fantastic and hardly practical in real life) is a charming fantasy, with loads of kindness and honor. Good relationships between the human characters. And the music is really enjoyable! This film should be watched at least five times to really get all the jokes and puns. Then skip chapters to your favorite bits from time to time. Lifts your mood every time!
