Excellent product but aerosol button gets blocked
The actual product is excellent and having it in spray form makes application much easier than using conventional grease.
The only issue I had is the aerosol button getting blocked with product if used in several short bursts. Seems fine if used over a longer spray period. I had to swap the button over from an old can of brake cleaner to get it working again.
Apart from the aerosol issue the product is brilliant at lubricating pretty much anything you need. Comes with a straw to direct the spray more precisely and seems to hold a good amount of product.
I'll certainly be buying more to keep the workshop supply topped up.

Best quality interior cleaner I've tried.
I originally tried this on a car I was selling a few years ago and have used nothing else since. It cleans stubborn stains really well, even on light coloured fabrics.
Not the cheapest fabric cleaner out there but is the best by a long way. Works brilliantly on carpets and all upholstery. It even smells quite nice... :)
If used fairly sparingly a single bottle will do 3 average sized hatchbacks (including the boot space). I also use it on the lower plastics and door shuts so would probably go further if you're only doing the fabrics.
Overall an excellent product.

This kit seems a little expensive when compared with other cold air intake kits on-line but when it arrived it was obvious that the extra money was well worth it.
The kit comes nicely packaged in one big box with quality hard pipes, thick silicon rubber connecting sections and all associated hose connectors and bolts.
The full colour instruction booklet made diy installation a fairly straightforward task.
All parts are high quality and the filter is huge compared with the standard filter (and other cheaper kits).
In use the kit increases induction noise significantly and you can hear the turbo hiss as you let off the throttle (particularly under harder acceleration).
Performance seems improved a little, but that could be just because the turbo can be heard working and you begin to drive to suit.
Overall this is a worthwhile modification that will sit nicely alongside other modifications as funds/time allow. I doubt there will be many applications where your engine will need more airflow than this kit can supply.
The filter is of the re-useable type so will potentially save money over a few years of routine servicing.
The kit requires removal and refitting of the standard airflow sensor (only two screws holding it in) so it would be a good opportunity to renew this whilst fitting the kit.
I've never fitted a cold air kit to a Golf Mk5 before (although I have fitted other models) and the whole process took about 40 mins. The instructions are brilliant and the kit is a perfect fit for each application.
Personally I would always pay the little extra for a premium kit as the quality and overall finish of the installed kit is much better than even slightly cheaper alternatives.
