A brilliant product
I have been using this brand of heat resistant silicone rubber for almost 30 years, and it has done me proud every time. However, I recommend that inexperienced users thoroughly read the instructions and perhaps watch some videos on mould making and their use.
Unlike other RTV silicone rubbers, heat resistant silicone rubber has less tear strength. So, be careful to avoid creating unnecessary undercuts in your moulds. Using normal RTV silicone rubber for white metals results in that this rubber produces gasses which will ruin castings. Sometimes, there are no short-cuts.
Overall, a brilliant high-quality product which I highly recommend for both hobbyist and professional. Some of my moulds are over 20 years old and still in good condition.
