Fail to Identify with the hype
Having had my interest aroused in this artist via social media and limited sampling I decided to plunge myself into her album and bought it. The first play through had me puzzled as to what seemed so impressive to others about her style & delivery. After three plays through my first impression solidified. Personally, I do not see her voice as pure and 'special', she fails to deliver depth of feeling through expression and her performance is at best mediocre. There are more talented individuals out on the streets and performing live in public places. This is not an album of desire. Good luck to you if you acquire it.
