Scrapes like it means it
Tough and effective. I've tried a few, this is great at tough mud and such.

Out in the sticks
0 of 1 found this helpful I live 57 miles from town over 60 miles from the antennas, in the shadow of a hill. I occasionally got one bar, could almost never make a phone call without dropping. I'm now getting 4 and 5 solid bars. Was previously using a mobile antenna design for a car where my phone set in a cradle to get reception, the Cradle would get hot while in use and my phone battery would overheat. With the repeater transmitter I no longer have a battery issue. It's nice to actually buy something that works as advertised, thank you.

It's ok, but
Portable extension cord required, powered by USB / "phone charger", with no real provision for aiming or staging, they are bare essentials for any photo shoot. I you are prepared to furnish rechargeable power or dc adapters then they furnish good clean light at a short range. I like them, but don't really have an immediate need filled without a little more work or planning. Not bad tho.
