Antex Mini Iron Master 5/10w Bp R4L82TW00 for bias work, fabricwork and applique

I hoped to replace my regular iron with Antex...

...but somehow it does not fit the purpose and overall despite spending £20 I don't use it as much. It is not as hot as the iron despite being on highest setting (off, 1, 2 options) and it takes long to reach the temperature. The Antex is quite ergonomic and the plate is designed well and reaches what big irons don't so it's a PLUS. But the cord is quite heavy in comparison to the device weight and it's also rigid so I need to be careful not to knock it sideways on its stand to avoid burning myself or something on my work table. I bought it strictly for paper piecing quilting, but now as a creative mind i shall have to find a different purpose for it - maybe using a different attachment (that needs to be bought separately) I will unlock its potential?

A bit better than just a starter kit for calligraphy.

I like handwritten ans calligraphy stylised writing. I don't find this product high end, durable as in the past all my plastic parkers fell apart. I will use it as often as I can and hopefully it'll live a bit longer.
