Fiamma Aluminium Wall Brackets 98655-728 Fix Legs To Side Wall Awning

Use supeglue.
These a very fiddly to fit as the components are loose and slippy until you have tightened them to the vehicle. In the end I used tiny specks of superglue to hold the metal backplate to the main bracket (which also captivates the upper sliding catch) then it was easy. Probably one of the worst assembly designs I've ever encountered but when fitted it works well and looks good.

Flashy (not in a good way)
I fitted 4 these in the rear of my 2010 Skoda Yeti. A first they seemed ok but not as bright as the original filament bulbs that they replaced. After a 2hr drive they were flashing or missing different sections of light so I had to refit the originals to get me home.

NOT PLUG AND PLAY !
Wiring plug is different to the original so had be be cut off and the original one spliced back on. Up and down functions are reversed.maybe I could dig into it to swap the motor wires one day The three tapped mounting screw holes are counterbored into the plastic bracket (original is metal) too deep so the original screws are not long enough to reach the thread. None are supplied with the mirror so I had to find some, of differing lenths, to fit. It seems sturdy enough. I wanted to fit my original colour coded trim rather than the one supplied but I ran out of time to see if it fits. Bottom line _ it stopped the car failing the MOT test for a broken mirror....but what a faff for something that should just screw on, plug in and move in the right directions.
