An amazing portrayal of the part horses played in WW1

Morpurgo dealt with this highly emotionally charged picture of how horses were used in the War delicately & with kid friendly gloves. A brilliant read but did invoke a tear or two.

Too crude for us

The first scene shows a baby being used as the ‘butt’ of a very disturbing ‘joke’ so put us right off, switched the film off after that.
