I Shock Myself - autobiography of Beatrice Wood

If you love Beatrice Wood's wonderful lustre ware ceramics and would like to find out about the life of this amazing woman - this is the book for you. Unfortunately it tells us only a little about her ceramics. It did however inspire me to make the most of my youth in my forties and learn from her enthusiasm for creative work that kept her working until she was 105. It is also very informative about the circle of artists around Marcel Duchamp and Picabia. I could not put this book down and will have to refer back to it later.
