Bound For Glory

This movie is beautifully done. It is set in the 1930's, and is a story about the Woody Guthrie; his experiences in the Dust Bowl; his unique healing nature; his songs; his union organizing in California; and his refusal to compromise his ideals. The photography is set in California's Central Valley. One thing, in the first scene at the gas station: the Coke machine is a later model that came out in the late forties or early fifties, not the thirties. I decided to buy the movie because the scenery and the songs are what I like to hear and see over and over again.

I've been looking for years for something this comfortable and easy to adjust. It's a little pricey, but it's worth it. The workmanship is excellent. I can use it for all my instruments from ukulele to my electric bass and all the guitars in between. If you buy, you will like.

Little ol' Band from Texas duz it agin

This is a wonderful showcase of ZZ's best songs, and it's performed in their home state. It's chock full of music and hardly any talk, so that's why I like it. Just sit back relax, pop open your favorite drink and enjoy the boys at their best. They just get better as they get older! The musicianship is fabulous!
