Excellent for use as face flannels, and small enough to fit in a pocket or handbag for use as an absorbant cloth when perspiring.

Old Town in the Green Groves by Cynthia Rylant (2002)
Myself and my daughters have all really enjoyed this book. It is very well written, in the same style as Laura Ingalls Wilder's complete "Little House" series. If you didn't know better you'd think it was part of the original series. It is just such a pity Laura felt the need to leave out this important part of her life story, it fills in so many blanks. There are some points left to the imagination between the end of this book and the beginning of Laura's next book (By The Shores of Silver Lake), but it fills in two years of Laura's life that have long been a mystery to many of her readers. I would whole heartedly recommend this book to anyone who has a love of the Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little House" series.
This book, "Old Town In The Green Groves" fits into Laura's life story between "On The Banks Of Plum Creek" and "By The Shores Of Silver Lake".
An excellent book, i am so glad to have found it after all these years.
