Stylish hob.
Just purchased so not thoroughly tested but with Neff's reputation I hope it will live up to expectations. Solid, cast iron pan supports were an essential feature. The black glass panel was chosen with a view to the printed burner positions being resistant to wear. It looks stylish and good quality.

Not the best guide book available.
This is my first purchase of a Time Out guide book and it was a disappointment . I wanted a guide book which was well detailed but not over-long.
The print was very small and not very easy on the eye. Nor was it accompanied by maps so the reader is totally reliant on descriptions which are very difficult to follow. Lisbon is a city which is very hilly and this 3 dimensional aspect makes it even more difficult to navigate. I would have liked 'walking tours" shown on maps I disliked the fact that the index is not at the very end of the book.
I would not buy a Time Out guide again.

All you need for a short trip to Tallinn.
If you are planning a weekend break to Tallinn or it is part of a Baltic cruise itinerary the Berlitz Pocket Guide will serve very well. It is sufficiently detailed yet concise, gives an introduction to the history & economy of Estonia and provides practical information before and during your visit. I preferred this book to the Thomas Cook pocket guide to Helsinki which I also used on the trip.
The maps are clear & adequate for getting your bearings but will probably need to be supplemented with more detailed maps from the tourist information or hotel reception, especially if you are trying to find a restaurant, bar or hotel in the maze of streets & alleys in the old town. (I used online mapping & took print outs of the exact location of the hotel & places I wanted to visit as not all the streets are shown in the guide.)
This is the first edition of the guide & would benefit from updating, not least because Estonia joined the Eurozone in January 2011 so references to the former currency are no longer helpful.
