Great, quick tabletop experience
1 of 1 found this helpful Great game with lot of replayability. My friends and I just couldn't stop playing it, and played through seven scenarios in three days. The modular house is fun to build and the special traitor rules always keeps you thrilled, with that weird hope of being the guy.
Lot of components, even if it's weirdly lacking a marker for the "dog" card (really, why not making one? you've printed two hundred already...)
The games are pretty quick too (a bit less than an hour, as average), allowing to stick a game even in a short evening meet-up. I'm not sure on how the longevity is going to work once you finish the whole book, but you can expect at least 50 smooth games.

A nice, fast game.
Forbidden Island is an easy to learn, hard to master game. Its mechanics are simple, and winning requires planning, discussions and cooperation between the players. The metallic box is gorgeous, just like the plastic treasures and the art.
