Flimsy
Not worth buying. Flimsy, bends a bit when in use, not sharp where it needs to be.

Great starter, great value, and even better taste
When I got the starter, my first thought was "wow, I didn't realise how small amount 80g is". Starter was well packaged, promptly delivered, and after I've got it in bowl and added some water and flour, I left it to work it's magic. And magic it surely has. As it turned out, 80g is plenty to get you going, and I've been using it all the time. I keep it on the counter top, keep adding water and flour, and 2 - 3 times a week I make something delicious out of it. My go to seems to be (at least for the time being) sourdough "crumpets", quick, easy and so tasty.
The starter gives great taste to your baked goods, is good quality, and you get also a leaflet about how to take care of it. Next I need to try to use some of it in a cake. Weird, I know, but there are so many recipes to try. Whatever you want to bake, bread, rolls, crumpets, cake (I assume) you get well your money's worth. I recommend you to give it a go, it's a lot easier than you think. I would also recommend to get a wooden dough bowl for it, and learn how to keep sourdough starter in wooden container to get the traditional benefits of the bowl too.

Recommended
I expected to get dormant bulb. However, it had already few tiny leaves and beginnings of roots. After planting it has started to grow steady and well, and color of leaves is beautiful.
