GME TX6100 Hand Held UHF Radio
1 of 1 found this helpful Very happy with the radio, the quality is what I expected (built like a brick shit house). When you look at any purchase and think about quality, then there is a problem, I've used other brands, I'm not faulting them, but all the GME radios stand out like dogs balls, they are exceptional quality. I drive trucks for a living and just about every truck with a UHF in it, is a GME, I've also had a little experience in printed circuit design, it's quality all the way.

One of the questions I was asked was is it durable, I'll rephrase the question to "will it be landfill in 12 to 24 months", I'd say yes, other than that, it is what it is, nothing is made to last these days.

GME tx6100 Radio
I have always had the opinion that GME radio's are built like a brick shit house, they can take a lot of bashing before they even think about dying. I am very happy with the radio.
