Probably the best industrial vacuum cleaner on the market
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my second Sealey PC477 vacuum cleaner. The other one is now 5 years old and still going - during that period it was used constantly. It can handle almost anything you can throw at it including rubble, the motors seem to be well insulated and don't wear out. There is no kickback of dust from the motors. The suction is powerful and if you clean the filters every couple of weeks there is no loss of suction. Better than and half the price of some of the 3 motor industrial vacs out there. Sealey - please don't change this machine! This is how things used to be made.

2 of 2 found this helpful Its not often that people get the chance to actually see these things working and there is always that doubt in your mind if the device will activate at the crucial moment. A friend of mine had a blocked chimney, the room filled with smoke and she told me the thing went mad, alerting the people in the house. This is the model she has. So I've just bought one for myself this morning after an incident with a faulty pellet burner, and if the fault had happened during the night we could have died in our sleep. I also like this one as the sensor is really sensitive down to 10ppm so the alert should kick in as fast as possible and that was the case in my friend's situation.
