Great value

Why buy anything else?
Much better value than the smaller cans if you shoot at least once a week as I do. You can decant it off into a 250ml can with an adapter if you want to take some in your shooting bag. VP90 is an excellent cleaner/lubricant/protector, used it for years on rifles and shotguns and it does what it says on the tin.
Easy to use, good value and does the job well, why buy anything else?

Perfect AR platform scope
Bought the Vortex Spitfire 3x scope after researching many others. If you want a low power magnifying scope with all the advantages of a red dot then I would recommend this. Fitted on a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 the 3x magnification is perfect targets out to 100m and great in low light. It can be used with both eyes open for rapid target acquisition and the red and green reticle options are useful, the scope can also be used with the illumination off. Although specifically set up for the .223/5.56 round, the reticle subtentions can be adapted for .22LR and work well at hunting ranges with a bit of practice. Optical quality is excellent and the scope looks and feels like it will stand up to a good deal of abuse. The only minor niggles are that there is no ‘off’ position between illumination levels so the dial has to be wound back to zero to switch the reticle off and also some shooters may find the eye relief very slightly short - fine for me however. Backed by the Vortex lifetime transferable warranty this is a fantastic quality piece of kit for the money.
