Quite small implements, but they are surprisingly good for the task.

My favourite brand
1 of 1 found this helpful These strings have been my favourite for decades. I've tried other brands but nothing else feels as good, break in so quickly, or last as long.

A good replacement part that does the job.
The handle was a good replacement for the original one which had snapped off. A metal catch, spigot and return spring were also supplied in the kit. I only used the spigot as the other items were of a slightly different design to the originals and wouldn't fit correctly.
Instructions on how to dismount the door and remove the inner cover are to be found on YouTube. If you are a competent DIYer the whole repair process should take under an hour from start to finish. It took me a couple of hours as I had to swap around parts to get the right fit and also took time to clean parts of the machine which are normally inaccessible.
