excellent experience
Exactly as advertised (thank you seller), and a significant improvement over its 15-20 yo 1600W Miele replacement. It's now clear that the reduction in rated power to 890W is more than offset by increased suction from the new machine. Time will tell whether the durability is the same - because the lid is made of thinner and more bendy plastic (but that's not to automatically mean less strong), and I'm not certain that the hose attachment point to the machine is better designed as the old machine has a 360% rotating mount whereas this machine has a fixed mount and relies on the flexibility of the hose; again time will tell because I am used to pulling the old machine around by its hose and I'm not yet sure the new machine is designed to be steered this way.
