Great pan....just not for me.
1 of 1 found this helpful This pan is very high quality. I like the way it conducts heat evenly. I have two issues with it...both are small. 1. When I cook something like rice, it always sticks. I have to watch it very carefully. I prefer using non-stick cookware. This is not the pan's fault obviously, but more of a preference on my part. 2. It is sooooo heavy. This is to be expected with 5-ply but I underestimated just how heavy it would be.

Too heavy and bad handle
First, let me say that this pan cooks GREAT. But, it is so heavy it’s very difficult to pick up with one hand. I have to use two. Second, the handle is a terrible shape. It digs into your hand when you pick it up. It’s actually painful. I have to wrap a towel around the handle. I will always buy All Clad pans...they are wonderful. But I wouldn’t recommend this particular pan.
