Signal Weak and Thin
I installed this in Gibson Heritage Custom acoustic guitar, according to instructions. I play this guitar through a mixer and PA system. I chose to purchase this pickup because Barcus Berry says that there is a strong signal and a battery (preamp) isn't needed. In my opinion, I did not find this to be the case. The signal is too weak for my taste and it sounds thin. i am now looking for a preamp to use with it. I am going to choose a Fishman Infinity Matrix and try to use only the preamp portion of the Infinity.
I want to be clear and say that this review is not about the ebay person or store that I purchased this from. It was as advertised, was at a fair price and arrived quickly. It was a fine transaction. I just picked the wrong product.

Too Much Work
These things are too much work and the eggs tend to stick in them. There were no instructions either so I had to look up how to use them on line. Instead of plopping an egg in water, you have to grease the containers, pour in the egg, put on the lid, cook for 15 minutes after boiling, handle them while hot, scoop out the egg with a spoon, then clean the containers from all the egg stuck on the surfaces. They are hard to clean. Sorry I bought them.

Quality Product
I like this feeder. The birds flock to it. It works well after 2 weeks. A lot of thought went into the design and construction. I would buy another!
