Well designed but typical of its time.
A small "pocket" calculator with a good selection of 28 basic scientific function and a single memory (STO, RCL, M+) and a function to swap the displayed number and the previously entered number. The 8 digit display become 5 + 2 digits for number sin scientific format but the additional digits can be viewed using a display mode key. Results are accurate to 2 counts in the eighth digit which is pretty good.
The "D" model takes a PP3 battery. A 3.5 mm jack allows the use of a mains adapter (6 volt DC). This is connected in parallel to the battery so the battery should probably be removed when operating on mains power for any length of time.
Calculations are noticeably slower than on a modern calculator. Calculation a sine of an angle (only degrees are supported) takes 2 or 3 seconds.
The 8 digit LED is bright. This is a very small display behind a thick lens. This works well giving a large bright display but the viewing angle is narrow. The LED display requires a lot of power so the display powers down after a short period of inactivity.
This is a low-end scientific calculator. It looks good. Ages well. Works well,
