A useful series
A very useful collection of “fillers“ in different keys. The pieces have a sense of “something being played“ but are not very distinctive – just right for background music.

Interesting and generally excellent performances
Performances ranging from interesting to excellent, with Petra Noskaiová (alto) and Christopher Genz (tenor) consistently excellent. Recording quality very good, and instrumental playing of a uniformly high standard. These interpretations are, of course, “one to a part” performances, which will not be to everyone’s taste for the choruses, but it adds a level of clarity.

Joyous performances
Inspired arrangements and brilliant playing. The allegros are bubbling over with joyous dance rhythms, while the slow movements are serene and wistful.
