Exact replacement, easier install than I had hoped.

I started this by attempting to free up my old binding steering cable. I thought it would be more expensive and more work to replace, or I would not have bothered. One pin at the steering tiller on the outdrive, one nut at the tube that anchors the outer casing to the transom, and four screws at the rack & pinion under the dash, and out it comes. It even includes a new rack.

These preowned hinges w/gas struts a great value!

Hinges on the wife's Jetta were binding and needless to say that was not popular. Found these used ones including the gas struts for a very attractive price and purchased them. Installed them on Sunday and trunk closes much better.

Top quality at a better price

I had the rear washer tube seize inside the wiper shaft and break on my Passat rear wiper. These plastic nozzles become brittle with age. The original one snapped while attempting to remove it, and the replacement (used) wiper arrived with the nozzle broken. The dealers want a lot for these, and when I found this one (made in Germany), I bought two. It is at least as high quality as the VW part and fits as well.
