I've no interest in pyrography, I'm reviewing this purely as a 3D print finishing tool. On that basis, it's a pity that in the large collection of supplied accessory 'bits', there isn't one that's a larger, flat plate, ideal for smoothing larger surfaces. However, there are one or two flat bits that will suffice, and they seem to work well enough. I've only so far tried at the 200 degrees heat setting, which is also the extrusion temperature of the PLA plastic filament I use. The tool does have higher settings, which may be useful for ABS or other plastics, but I've not tested that. Overall, given how much less this costs than the 'correct' finishing tool, I'd say it's worth a go if you have a 3D printer.

My go-to PSU

A better deal than the very cheap generic Chinese units. The cables are a little thicker, so I have more confidence in the Aero Cool. I had bought one of these before to use in my daily PC, so I had no hesitation in buying another for a second PC. I like to have a power switch on my power supplies, another plus for this Aero Cool, which also comes with a mains lead and four mounting screws.
