A total pain to install, but it did work.
The resistor was a total pain to install. The fit is not good! I removed the old resistor, but the new one would not slide/click into place, no matter how hard I tried. After trying for a long time, I tried to re-insert the old one, just to see if that was easier. It slid right in no problem. I ended up having to trim the plastic on the resistor with a knife to make it fit. Once it did it worked wonders. We'll se how long it last.

Great quality product.
I bought this to use in my car, I wanted a flat cable to make closing the glove box with the cable sticking out easier. The 90 degree bend is also super convenient for me. The cable and plugs itself seems to be of very good quality.
Would recommend.
