Great value lens
This is a brilliant little lens. It's is smaller and better quality than it looks in pictures. It really delivers in image quality too. I would recommend this lens any day of the week.

A great little workorse
1 of 1 found this helpful For the price you pay for these babies on here they are a steal. The specs might not be as high or apealing as todays glossy new offerings, but I can guarentee you that none of the the laptops you can buy new for less than £800 will be anywhere near the build quality of any IBM/Lenovo laptop.
The CPU is much more than you will nead for just about anything other than the latest games. But what you are really buying is a piece of quality hardware. No more bowncy sponge like keyboards. No more creeky cases that feel they wouldn't survive a one inch fall, let alone from the table to the floor.
They are nice and compact too, and quite light really considering the solid build quality.
If you want a laptop to work comfortably on, then I can thoroughly recommend this, or any other IBM/Lenovo laptop. Remember that specification is only one factor in deciding a laptop purchase, in the same way digital cameras are not just about pixel counts. Good quality will always outlast cheap rubbish! And you can get these T42's or any other "T" model for a lot less than the cheapest piece of unreliable junk you can buy new from the shops. And I can pretty much assure you that you would regret buying the new cheap rubbish. I know cos I made that mistake once for the kids, but never again.

Top Nikon Lens
Throw away your 18-55 kit lens and get one of these cheap. Far better quality which results in far better photos. I'm no expert but when I swapped it was like night and day. I have a good collection of lenses now but this is still a favourite because it's compact and light compared to the bigger lenses I have, yet takes comparable photos.
